Meet the Owner

Ann Claude, a native of Boston, MA, is the visionary founder and CEO of Access and Care Recovery. As a registered nurse, Ann immersed herself in Addiction Medicine, Psychiatry, and Public Health, gaining extensive hands-on experience with patients facing complex challenges. Through her work, she became particularly passionate about advocating for underserved communities, recognizing the unique barriers they face in accessing quality care. After gaining a few years of experience in nursing, Ann identified a critical need for housing stability among her patients, many of whom struggled with substance use disorders and had limited access to safe, supportive environments. Motivated to address this gap, she established Access and Care Recovery, a nonprofit organization offering sober livings that provide a foundation for recovery. The nonprofit now operates two sober homes—one gender-neutral and one male-only—supporting up to 26 individuals.
